I spoke with my uncle Brian and he mentioned that family was very important to aunt Phyllis. This was obvious to anyone that noticed her during family Christmas dinners held at her house. Phyllis facilitated the visits of close to a 100 (guessing) people would enter and leave her home at different times. The garage was dedicated to the smokers. The kitchen operated smoothly with volunteers tagging in and out. Throughout this event I never once seen Phyllis tired. At least not to the point of fatigue or frustration. That is a testament to her authenticity.
