Dear Michael, Patrick, Stephen, Anne Marie, Andrew, and families members,
It was a great privilege to have known your father. We share the sorrow of your loss.
We are truly fortunate that just the fact of thinking of your father brings back so many fond memories of him and your family. We are forever thankful to have met you all and the good times we have passed together.

Your father was amazing with his interest in history, politics and how well informed he was in what his children and grandchildren were doing. He was immensely proud of all of you when I was talking to him. My regret is that did not call often enough.
Whenever one of you wants to revisit the Eastern Townships, you are welcome to stay at my place.

I remember as a child going to the Farm for visits with the family... Dermer and Woffenden’s. Your parents were always so welcoming and my Dad Stephen enjoyed his time spent with Uncle Erwin. I of course always remember he sat me on your pony and I panicked as I thought every time his head turned he was going to bite me. Fond memories. My sincerest condolences 💐.

I remember the last time I visited him, he poured me a glass of sherry and showed me his room with all his collection of war memorial and he told me how proud he was of all your accomplishments. I am just sorry that I wasn't able to get back to see him with Cecil
