Passed away peacefully at the Brockville General Hospital, on Monday, December 31st, 2012. Rosa Luxemburg (MacNeil) Mackie, at the age of 91 years. Beloved wife of the late George Mackie. Dear mother of Isabella Buchanan (Philip) of Scotland, Irene Wilkie and her husband William (Bill) of Brockville, and Raymond Mackie of Nova Scotia. Also survived by eight grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. Rosa was predeceased by one sister and two brothers.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at Irvine Funeral Home and Chapel, 4 James Street East, Brockville on Sunday January 6th from 2-4 pm. A ceremony celebrating Rosa's life will be held in the Chapel on Monday, January 7th, 2013 at 11:00 am with cremation following.
