Peacefully, surrounded by his family, on Friday, November 27, 2015 at the Brockville General Hospital Palliative Care Centre at the age of 78 years. Beloved husband of Dorothy (nee Flaro) and loving father of Sharon Frennette (Terry), Donna Alarie (Moe) and Gary Lamer (Kim). Cherished grandfather of Peter Frennette, Rachel Frennette and Brandon Lamer. Dear brother of Ron Lamer (the late Denise) and brother-in-law of Helen Trudel (Herm), David Flaro (Marilyn) and Ken Flaro (Carol). Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents, Laurence and Christina Lamer and by his brother-in-law Edward Flaro. Family and friends are invited to visit at the Irvine Memorial Chapel at Roselawn, (2451 County Road 15, Maitland), from 11am Saturday, December 5th until 2:00 p.m. with a Service in Celebration of Larry's life will be held in the chapel. Interment will follow at Roselawn and a reception for family and friends will take place at the Augusta Fire Hall, Maitland. In remembrance, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society will be gratefully acknowledged.
