Passed away peacefully and surrounded by his loved ones at the Brockville General Hospital, Garden Street Site on Monday, February 25, 2013; Joseph Arthur Joyce at the age of 79 years. Beloved husband of Mary Joyce (nee Finn). Loving father of Larry Joyce, Linda Hart and her husband Hugh, and Cathy Randall and her husband A.J. Cherished grandfather of Katie Hart, Jacob and Leah Randall. Dear brother of Margaret Barber and Rosaleen Villeneuve (Rene), and brother-in-law of Helen Finn, James and Joan Finn, and Raymond Finn. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents, Hamilton and Matilda (Freeman) Joyce of Elgin, and by brothers Michael and Lorne Joyce. Family and friends are invited to gather at St. John Bosco Church, 175 Windsor Drive, Brockville for the celebration of the Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, February 28th. There will be an opportunity to express condolences to the family at a reception in the St. John Bosco Parish Centre immediately following. Cremation will take place at Roselawn and arrangements are entrusted to the Irvine Funeral Home, 4 James Street East, Brockville. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Brockville and District Palliative Care or St. John Bosco Parish will be gratefully acknowledged.
