The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of John Bigalow can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence: The bible comforting hope allows you to look forward to seeing him again: Jesus said "For just as the Father has life in himself,so he has granted also to the Son to have life in himself...Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs(God's memory)will hear his voice and come out...to a resurrection of life"

Condolence: John was a wonderful neighbour who always took time to talk and lean over the fence to pet the dogs. He was happy to share his rhubarb and his favourite recipe for rhubarb coffee cake and in return was able to reach over to harvest tomatoes from my yard. I will miss him. My condolences to his sons

Condolence: Johnny was a great volunteer, so good to us all at LGMH (friendship centre). He took so many pictures for us, or if we were stuck he knew how to get the camera going. He had a good smile and was a wonderful person. He new everyone! You never heard a cross word about or from John or Joan, they were always there to help others.
Joan and John are together now.
May he rest in peace.

Condolence From: Theresa Smith
Condolence: Please accept our condolences to John's family and friends from Theresa, Dave, Liam and Ryon Smith of Ferguson Drive. Johnny was always quick with a smile and a wave, and great to chat with. Fiercely independent but a gentle soul - he was always 'on the go' to visit friends, help someone or take pictures. I found myself on the receiving end of his generous heart with a much needed but ever unexpected blowing out of the end of the driveway after a few winter storms.
If there is anything we can do to help please don't hesitate to let us know.
Rest in Peace.
