Obituary for Trevor Allan LeSueur

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Trevor LeSueur peacefully with close family by his side.

Predeceased by his mother Brenda and brother Joshua and his grandparents Barbara and Richard LeSueur, and Patricia and Macbeth McLachlan. He will be missed dearly by his father David and bonus-mom Rebecca Phillips, brother Cameron (Marta) and brother Jude Phillips (Melanie), sister Mallory Phillips (Matt), and family members Uncle Bruce, cousins Evangeline, Mack (wife Karen), Danielle (husband Matt), Aunt Linda Darragh (Alex) Evanston, IL, Uncle Rev. Richard LeSueur (Rhonde Gerhart) Canmore, AB, Aunt Anne Pye (Michael) Maui, HI. and cousins Hillary, Jeffrey and Christopher Darragh; Jamie and Phillip LeSueur; and William, Thomas and Sarah Pye. ….and of course, Trev’s dog Floki.

He will especially be missed by a large group of friends who stuck by his side up to the day of his passing and travelled from a far to visit, watch sports and reminisce over the years.

Trevor will be fondly remembered for the kind and caring attitude he showed everyone he encountered, and his humour that brought smiles to so many faces. He demonstrated to all what perseverance and bravery looks like in the face of adversity and was an inspiration to many.

Trevor was born and raised in Brockville attending Vanier Public School and BCI. He loved sports and played goalie in the BMHA, basketball and loved playing for the Red Rams football team. Later he headed to Acadia University for sociology and finished up at Ottawa U. Although cancer prevented him from many opportunities, he exceled at travelling, and at knowing professional sports inside and out. Maybe knowing which teams to bet on as well.

Family and friends are invited to the Irvine Funeral Home and Chapel, 4 James St East, Brockville on Friday, April 14, 2023 from 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm and Irvine Memorial Chapel at Roselawn, 2451 County 15, Maitland, ON., on Saturday April 15, 2023 between 12:00 pm -2:00 pm.
