Obituary for Teresa Frances Kelsey (Doherty)

Born in Belfast, Northern Ireland on December 15, 1948, Teresa passed away at the Queensway-Carleton Hospital, Ottawa on Sunday, May 10, 2020. Teresa Frances (nee Doherty) Kelsey, at the age of 71 years. She will be sadly missed by her dear daughter Holly Kelsey; grandchildren Ethan and Madison; her brothers Denis (Phyllis), Eamon (Cammie), Joseph, Patrick (Karen) and Michael (Charlene) and by her sister Mary Bailey (Loris). Also survived by her aunt Annie in Australia; her uncle Michael and aunt Mary in Carndonagh, Donegal; several first cousins in Brockville, Stittsville, Ottawa, Edmonton, Co.Donegal, Dublin, Manchester, London, Boston and Adelaide and by several dear nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents John and Teresa Doherty and by her in-laws Bill and Phyllis Kelsey.
Due to the Covid-19 situation, a private family graveside service will be held at St. Theresa's Cemetery, Throoptown. A Mass of the Christian Liturgy is planned in future when restrictions are lifted.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Mental Health Research Canada (MHRC) will be gratefully acknowledged.
