Obituary for Sonja Schwarze
Sonja Schwarze peacefully entered into rest at the age of 97 at the Brockville General Hospital
Palliative Care Unit on March 8, 2023.
Beloved wife of Gunter Schwarze. Dear mother of Reinhard (Hélène), Steve (Joan), and
stepmother of Harald (Sabine). Also survived by her precious grandchildren Yvonne, Ursula,
Ingrid, Chelsea, Rylan, and their cherished families.
The family would like to thank the wonderful Palliative Care staff and physicians for all they have
provided. We could not have asked for better care and support.
By the request of Sonja and family, there will be no services held at this time. Donations to
Brockville and District Hospital Foundation Palliative Care would be gratefully appreciated by
the family.
