Obituary

Passed away peacefully at the Brockville General Hospital, Charles Street Site on Friday, October 18, 2019. Shelley Ann Dickinson, at the age of 59 years. Beloved daughter of Joyce Prior and the late Robert John Dickinson. Mother of Justin Throop and sister of Donna Pope (Cameron). Also survived by her former husband Brian Throop.

Family and friends are invited to a celebration of Shelley's life to be held at Tall Ships Landing, 3rd floor, 15 St. Andrew Street, Brockville on Friday, October 25th from 5-8 pm. Arrangements are entrusted with the Irvine Memorial Chapel, 2451 County Road 15, Maitland. As expressions of sympathy, donations to CHEO will be gratefully acknowledged. With sadness we have just heard of Shelley's passing. We have fond memories of Shelly as a friend and valued member of the EIT team for many years. We offer our sincere condolences to Justin and Shelly's Family. We regret not attending the celebration of Shelley's life on Oct. 25th as we were unaware of this sad event until today.

Our condolences to Jason and and all of Shelley's Family. As part of the boating community we have know Shelley for a number of years since she first came to Tall Ships Landing. Shelley was a courteous helpful ambassador to the members of the TSL club and she will be missed.

We met Shelly as we were preparing to move into TSL.
She was always open,kind honest,and caring.She often went out of her way to solve problems,and always quietly,with a smile
She looked forward,every month,to “curling up” with our Vanity Fair magazine-the latest issue is on the table,waiting for her
She didn’t just “work” here-she cared about us all
