She was the loving and supportive mother to James (Beth), Terry (Carol), Michael (Adrianne) and Patricia (Henry). She loved her family and texted with many family members everyday. She was predeceased by her dear parents Margaret and James Lucy, her sister Beverley (Andre), Roy, brothers John (Betty) Lye and Robert (Eve) Lucy and grandson Ryan Holland.

Sharon had a great gift of compassion in her daily routine. She loved to share stories and laugh with the residents at Rosedale and knew each one by name. She had an incredible memory right to the end. As well, she enjoyed music and sang in many theatre productions as well as on the CBC radio when she was young. In her older years, her greatest joy was spending time with her family. She also enjoyed going for drives in her car. Sharon was very proud to have received a letter from the Cooperators Insurance company congratulating her on her record of driving accident free for 70 years. She loved, was loved and will be missed by her family and all who knew her. Her smile would lighten up a room so easily.
