Obituary for Sally Hughes

Passed away unexpectedly at her home on Thursday, August 25, 2022. Sarah Selena (Doherty) Hughes, at the age of 84 years. Beloved wife of Edward (Ted) Hughes and cherished mother of Ed (Tracy) Hughes, Stephen (Lorie) Hughes and Rosemarie (Alan) Dendy. Sally will be sadly missed by her eight grandchildren and by her three sisters Rosemary, Eileen and Phyllis. Predeceased by her son Frank; by her sister Isobel and by her brother Gerald.
Family and friends may pay their respects at the Irvine Funeral Home, 4 James Street East, Brockville on Wednesday, August 31, 2022 from 2-4 & 6-8 pm. A Funeral Liturgy in honour of Sally's life will be held in the chapel on Thursday, September 1, 2022 at 10 am. Rite of Committal and interment will take place at St. Mary's Roman Catholic Cemetery, Odessa Thursday at 2 pm.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
