Obituary for Renee Margaret Crawford
November 11, 1925 - May 19, 2020
Peacefully passed at Stratford ON. Beloved wife of the late Murray McFarlane Crawford (2001). Beloved mother to Gerald C. MacKean (Wanda). Loving grandmother to David A. MacKean (Maranda) and great grandchildren Samuel and Jane.
Predeceased by parents Lucien and Jeanne Rohmer, sister Lucy Gentile (Norman) and brother Jimmy. Survived by sister-in-law Marilyn Boone-Rohmer, several nieces and nephews.
Renee was a skilled seamstress and designer with her own shops in Sydney NS, Montreal and Halifax. Later in life she was an elder and committed member to the Lyn United Church and volunteer at the Brockville General Hospital, Lyn Museum, Grey Nineties Chorale, and Quilts for Chernobyl. Renee had a love of all animals. She was fun and sweet and kind.
