Reginald Nelson Sanderson
September 16, 1935 – November 26, 2022
The silliest and smartest man there ever was, Reginald "Papa" Sanderson, passed away on November 26, 2022 at Rosedale Retirement Residence. Remembered fondly by family and friends, Reg is survived by Olive Sanderson (nee Goldthorpe), daughter Sue Sanderson and son Steve Sanderson (Diane), and predeceased by daughter, Lynn Sanderson. Reg was the loving grandfather of Jamie Sanderson, Jennifer Brown (Pat), Sarah Sanderson (Matt), Wade Sanderson (Melissa), Samantha Sanderson, Jessica Sanderson, and Danielle Sanderson (Bryan) and proud great grandfather of Lucas, Easton and Ellis Brown, Paisley Sanderson, Grayson Winters, Hannah Bach, and Hazel Adams. Reg will be missed by many, including his best buddy, Albert the cat.
Many members of the community have known Reg for his passion for building and his business 1000 Islands Sales & Rentals, which helped to build many houses and businesses in the Brockville area. A proud and honest man, Reg was a member of the Masonic lodge and believed his handshake was his bond.
