Obituary for Rev. Reg Harwood

~~~~~~~~~~~
Rev. Reginald Roy Harwood
It is with both heavy and celebratory hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved, Reg Harwood to his eternal reward. Reg passed from this world to the next on the morning of February 26th, 2024 at the young age of 66. He is survived by his loving wife, Sherrie Harwood, who never left his side, son Jamie Harwood (Angel), Daughters, Angela Overton (Michael), Johnna Moore (Cody). Also survived by his mother Grace, brothers David Harwood (Charlene), and Michael Harwood (Jan). His loving grandbabies, Emily, Ashton, Ethan, Jubilee, and Levi. Many fun and exciting times will be remembered with their Grampie, especially fishing and eating ice cream. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his Father, Reginald Harwood, sisters, Debbie and Gail Harwood.
Grampie had such a passion for God, his family and fishing! People were so important to him, he would cross the street just to talk to someone and make them feel loved. His close family were blessed with a week together with Reg before he passed. There were times of laughing and crying and sharing that Reg was able to take part of. What a blessing to be able to spend that week together reminiscing of times past and being in the presence of the Lord and each other. Reg, we will meet you at the gate when our time has come. So today we say good bye but look forward to our meeting soon enough. Our love, respect and thanks for all your prayers and guidance to you always. Never forgotten, always in our hearts.
Friends and Family may join us at the Abundant Life Pentecostal Church for a celebration of life at 13356 Loyalist Pkwy, Picton, Ontario on March 23rd at 1pm.
Our heart felt gratitude to the wonderful and loving staff at St. Lawrence Lodge for your love and compassion that went above and beyond what was expected. Thank you. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the St. Lawrence Lodge would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
Send a message of condolence or share a special thought of Reg on the Memory Wall above.
