Obituary for Randy Maurice Mathieson
Randy Mathieson passed away suddenly at Brockville General Hospital on Thursday, May 21, 2020 at the age of 57. Randy (Midget) Mathieson, worked at Kia Brockville doing one of his favourite things, detailing cars. He is retired from Motor Coils Mfg.
Randy is survived by the most important people in his life, his children, Robert Mathieson (Rachael), Sarah Mathieson (Geoff), Danielle Mathieson (Andrew) and grandson Jaxon. He is also survived by his Mother, Lillianne Hall, brothers Michael Mathieson (Linda), Douglas Mathieson (Elizabeth), Lee Anne Mathieson and Donald Hall Jr. (Jodi). As well as good friends Peggy Mathieson and her partner Zac Tzekakis, John Kercher and Paul and Diane Gordon.
He was predeceased by his father, Douglas Mathieson, and his beloved in-laws Robert and Mary Kercher.
In lieu of a funeral service, to respect social distancing, there will be a parade in his honour on Saturday, May 30 at 12:00 noon. Family will be gathering at the front of Irvine Funeral Home and we ask that anyone wanting to join the procession, meet at the former Zellers parking lot at 11:45 to be part of the motorcade that will drive by they funeral home to honour Randy and his family. Randy was never somber and this will be a joyous send off.
An internment reception to happen at a later date.
