Obituary for Pauline Cyr

Entered into rest suddenly at her residence on January 29th 2021. Pauline is survived by her loving spouse Gill and her five children Diane Jackson (Mark), Joanne Hewson ( Robert deceased), Carole Mewett, Robert Cyr and Lisa Cyr-Auld (Jamie). Also survived by five grandchildren Curtis (Travis) Jackson, Thomas Jackson, Alex Hewson (Niki), and Matthew and Katherine Mewett-Lowe. Fondly remembered by her four great grandchildren. Dear sister of Bob Belanger and Edna Smith. Predeceased by her two grandchildren Stuart and Daniel Jackson and by a number of brothers and sisters. Pauline was the first woman that served on the Augusta Township Council. She was an avid knitter and enjoyed many camping excursions with her family. Pauline was a longtime member of St. Marks Parish as well as the CWL.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at Irvine Memorial Chapel at Roselawn, 2451 County Rd. 15,Maitland on Tuesday, February 2, 2021 from 2:30-4 pm and 6-8 pm.
A private Liturgy of the Christian Funeral will be held on Wednesday in the Chapel with interment to follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Maitland.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to Canadian Cancer Research or the Brockville and District Hospital Foundation Palliative Care will be gratefully appreciated.
