Obituary for Paul Joseph Fournier

Entered into rest peacefully at his residence surrounded by his family on Wednesday, May 20, 2020 after a battle with cancer. Beloved husband of Audrey (née Kelly) and dear father of Mark (Sueling), Kelly (Steve), Stephen and Alyson (Craig). Fondly remembered by his siblings Mike (Karen), Dan (Karen), and Anne MacDonald (Stuart, dec’d) as well as his six grandchildren Janelle, Taylor, Emma, Peyton, Jake and Sloane. He was predeceased by his parents Francis and Norah and daughter Paula.
Paul was a devoted and loving husband, father and grandfather who cherished time with his family. Paul had developed special relationships with many friends in the Brockville area and from his days at St. Pats and Regiopolis College. He loved to attend gatherings with his friends and family, particularly on the beautiful St. Lawrence River where he enjoyed delivering memorable toasts to all attendees. He was deeply devoted to the Brockville community including to the missions of St. Lawrence College, the YMCA and the Aquatarium. He will be greatly missed by members of the Brockville business, arts and legal community and will always be remembered for his kindness and compassion. His family and friends will have fond memories of their time together on sailing trips, art trips, skiing, at Senators games, at floor hockey games, on the golf course and at the bridge table.
A private graveside service will be held at St. Francis Xavier due to current Covid 19 restrictions.
