Obituary for Marjorie McLennan
Our loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother - Marjorie McLennan (nee Shotter) of Brockville, aged 90 years left us on July 11, 2022 to join her beloved husband Rod McLennan who passed in 2020.
Marjorie is survived by her two sons Rod McLennan (Teresa) and David McLennan (Susan); Grandchildren Andrew (Becca), Brendan (Laura), Robert, Alison Ferguson (Scott), Geoffrey, Sarah and Great-grandchildren Hannah, Madeline, Jillian Jo, Sam, Tessa and Elsie as well as sister-in-law Nancy Roberts, nephews and many great friends.
Mom dedicated herself to raising a family and creating a loving home which resulted in 66 wonderful years of marriage with her husband Rod, as well as instilling strong values and providing unwavering support to her children. Mom’s heart was always in the right place, and we thank her from the bottom of our hearts for this lifelong gift.
Marjorie was a good friend to many in her social and church communities. Her faith gave her significant strength and comfort throughout her life. She will be deeply missed by all those she touched.

Family and friends may call at the Irvine Funeral Home & Chapel, 4 James Street East on Saturday July 16th from 10am until 12 noon. A celebration of Marjorie’s life will be held in the Chapel at 12 noon with interment to follow at Oakland Cemetery.
