Obituary for Eileen Marjorie Davy (Reid)

Marjorie Davy passed away on January 16th, 2021. Marjorie grew up near Cardinal, Ontario at North Channel on the Reid family farm. Beloved wife to Lionel, they built their family home across the road from the farm and raised their sons Kerry and Brant (Ruth). Marjorie was a kind, generous and loving woman. She cherished family and was a devoted grandmother to Elise and Jake. Marjorie had a mischievous sense of humour and her jokes were often followed by a wink and a bright smile. She had a talent and a passion for knitting, sewing and crafting. She was not afraid of hard work and could hammer a nail with the best of them.
Marjorie was predeceased by Lionel and Kerry, her parents Roy and Greta, her sisters Eleanor, Bernice, Joan and brother Ray. She is survived by her son Brant, daughter in law Ruth, and grandchildren Elise and Jake. She is also survived by her loving sister, friend and laughing partner Linda (Bill), and lifelong friend Marguerite, as well as her nieces and nephews. A thank you to Jim and Karen for their company, love and support shown to Marjorie and family.
A celebration of Marjorie's life will be held in the spring or summer.
