Obituary for Mario Rigutto

Mario passed away peacefully at the St. Lawrence Lodge on Saturday, March 18th, 2023 at the age of 82 years. Beloved husband of Joyce Rigutto (Cowan) and cherished father to David Rigutto (Caroline) and Nancy Rigutto (Norm). Dear grandfather of Giles White and Ryan Rigutto. He will be sadly missed by his sisters Vanna Rigutto (Lui), Nadia Rigutto (Kevin) and sister-in-law Karen Nordin. Lovingly remembered by nieces and nephews Patricia (Edi), Daniela (Chris), Moira (David), Amy (Dave), Marcy (Chris), Chrisy (Arturo), Brock (Rita), Laurie (Mike), Greg (Joanne), Brenda (Cliff), Vicki and Doug (Debbie). Predeceased by his parents Luigi and Evelina (Bernardi) Rigutto and in-laws Brock and Lila (Sturgeon) Cowan, his brother Livio Rigutto, his niece Pam Burns (Tim), brothers-in-law Lloyd Cowan (Betty) and Lawrence Cowan (Muriel) and by sisters-in-law Shirley Cowan and Audrey Cowan.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at the Irvine Funeral Home, 4 James Street East, Brockville on Wednesday, March 29th, 2023 from 11 am - 1 pm. A service in celebration of Mario's life will be held in the chapel at 1 pm followed by a reception. Please note that anyone attending the visitation and/or funeral on Wednesday should feel free to dress casually & comfortably.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to Cystic Fibrosis Canada or Alzheimer Society of Lanark Leeds & Grenville will be gratefully acknowledged.
