Obituary for Margaret McKend

Margaret McKend (nee Kirkpatrick) passed away peacefully on Wednesday May 25, 2022 at the Brockville General Hospital at the age of 91 years. She was predeceased by her loving husband of 56 years, John. Margaret will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed by her children Linda (Doug), Michael (Cherin), and Diane (Paul), and her 10 grandchildren Christopher, Geoffrey, Cameron, and Carolyn Williamson; Martin, Jonathan, Steven, and Jacqueline McKend; and Jason and Jennifer Earl. A special thanks to Lana and the extraordinary care she gave our Mum, our Gran.
We will all cherish our memories of Margaret’s active and full life, her beautiful smile, her signature red lipstick, her delightful laugh, and the love and generosity she gave to us all.
The family will be holding a private celebration of her life in June. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory can be made to a charity of your choice.
