Entered into rest peacefully at the Brockville General Hospital on Saturday, April 29, 2023 at the age of 88. Beloved husband for over 66 years to E. Beryle Garvin (nee Healey) and dear father of Kim (Steve) Allen, Karen (Greg) Gendron and Scott (Fay) Garvin. Fondly remembered by his five grandchildren Ashley Tyo (Matt), Brittany Gendron (Derek Wilson). Torrey Gendron (Becky), Ryan Allen (Emma Wilson), Hillary Garvin and by his three great grandchildren Jackson and Addisyn Tyo and Maia Gendron Wilson. Predeceased by his sister Jessie McKay as well as his parents Ruth and Lorne Garvin. Bob was an employee of Bell Canada for over 38 years as well as a former member of the Brockville Lions Club. Bob was a long time volunteer and identified with the PC Party of Leeds and Grenville

The family will receive friends at the Irvine Funeral Home and Chapel, 4 James Street East, Brockville on Thursday, May 4, 2023 from 4-7 pm. A private service will be held at a later date at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Maitland.

A sincere thank you to Drs. Adam Steacie and Gerry Ashe, the staff on the 3rd floor at the Brockville General Hospital and the staff at St. Lawrence Lodge - Oak Floor for their compassionate care that was given to our family. In memoriums to the Brockville General Hospital Palliative Care service will be gratefully appreciated.
