It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Lorie Secord at the age of 55 on Sunday, February 13, 2022. She will be lovingly remembered by her mother Geraldine Secord, sisters Linda Secord and Susan Sawchak (Bob), and nephews Jacob and Matthew Sawchak. She was predeceased by her father John Secord.
Lorie will always be remembered as a dedicated teacher at St. Francis Xavier Catholic School. She was a cancer survivor who had a passion for travel, jewelry and drawing. She was a supporter of the arts, and volunteered at the Brockville Arts Centre for many years. Her memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved her.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at the Irvine Funeral Home, 4 James St., E, Brockville on Thursday, February 24, 2022 from 12-1:30 pm, followed by a 2 pm funeral mass at the St. Francis Xavier Church, 66 Church St., Brockville. Interment to follow at St. Francis Xavier Cemetery followed by a reception back at the Irvine Funeral Home. Memorial donations to the charity of your choice will be greatly appreciated by the family.
