Lance Michael Besharah - carpenter, musician, teacher, father and husband - age 73 years, born February 3, 1949, departed this life June 5, 2022.
Lance is survived by his wife Ellen VanSchie; his daughters Megan (Andrew) and Abby; grandchildren Briar, Eva and Violet and by his brothers Kris and Bruce. Predeceased by a brother Mark.
An event to celebrate Lance Besharah will be held from 7pm-10pm Tuesday, June 14, 2022 at the Brockville Arts Centre, 235 King Street West, Brockville. Casual dress is requested.
The Besharah’s welcome all - be they family, friend, colleague or student.
This three-hour celebration of Lance’s life will include music, photos and stories from all those who wish to share.
The family requests any photos of Lance and song suggestions to be played at this event. Photos of Lance can kindly be sent to his daughter Meg Besharah, at mbesharahaura@gmail.com before 2 pm this Thursday 9 June 9. Songs may be sent to Abby at abby.besharah@gmail.com.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations instead be made to The Brockville Concert Band. This can be done by e-transfer (goldeneyeb@hotmail.com) or via cheque to: Brockville Concert Band, PO Box 192, Maitland, ON K0E 1P0.
