Obituary for Kathleen "Kitty" Workman

It is with heavy hearts we announce that Kathleen (Kitty) Workman passed away at the St. Lawrence Lodge on Saturday, June 25, 2022. She was 98 years of age. Lovingly remembered by her children Larry Henderson (Shannon) and Judy Drury (Dennis). She was a loving grandmother to four and great grandmother of nine. She will be missed by her sister Jean Randall and brother Larry Skinner (Marj) and many life long friends. All of whom she loved and touched deeply. She was predeceased by her husbands Gordon Henderson and Floyd Workman as well as her brothers Claire and Byron and her sister Blanche
Kitty was well loved in her small town of Prescott. She was an avid golfer, curler, and bridge player. She loved being around people and always made time for everyone. She especially enjoyed providing love and support to her family.
For the past year; St. Lawrence Lodge was her home. She received the care she so deserved. Nurses, PSW’s and housekeeping were kind, caring and often going above and beyond to ensure she was happy, active, with purpose and in the end their compassion and expertise at proving comfort with end of life measures. Our family thank each of you.
Family and friends ae invited to the Irvine Memorial Chapel, 2451 County Road 15, Maitland, ON Thursday, June 30th, 2022 from 10 am to noon followed by a celebration of life in the chapel. Interment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Maitland. Memorial donations to the Cancer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
