Obituary for Junior Bryce Tanney
Passed peacefully at home on Friday, August 2, 2019 at the age of 85. Junior is survived by his loving spouse Geraldine; daughter, Heather (Shawn) Slack; son, Duncan Tanney; grandchildren, Jacqueline and James; two great-grandchildren Gracie and Ethan; and two brothers, Orville Tanney and Keith Tanney. He was preceded in death by his parents Gordon and Hazel (Darling) Tanney; brother, Gerald Tanney; and infant sister, Marie Tanney.
Visitation will be held at the Irvine Memorial Chapel at Roselawn, 2451 County Rd. 15, Maitland, Ontario on Wednesday, August 7, 2019, from 11:00 am until the time of Junior's Memorial Service in the chapel at 1:00 pm, with Rev. Marianne Emig Carr officiating. Interment will take place at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Maitland. Memorials are suggested to the Brockville and District Hospital Foundation Palliative Care. Messages of condolence may be placed on the memory wall above.
