Obituary for Juanita Luella Cameron (Countryman)

Cameron, Juanita (nee Countryman)

Juanita Cameron (nee Countryman) passed away peacefully on March 22, 2022 at the Brockville General Hospital at the age of 93. She was born on August 30, 1928 to Hugh Countryman and Luella May Bradford in Maitland. Juanita was predeceased by her husband Lloyd whom she loved dearly, and she missed him until the day she died. She was also predeceased by her six brothers and sisters.

Juanita was very outspoken, generous and kind and a lot of fun to be around and will be sadly missed by many friends and family. She especially loved children and had a soft spot in her heart for animals. After retiring from Parke Davis, Juanita enjoyed travel, gardening and she was very active in volunteer work.

Many thanks go out to the staff at the Rosedale Retirement Home and also the staff at Palliative Care. Juanita’s wish was that if anyone would like to make a donation that it be made to Brockville General Hospital Palliative Care or to the Maycourt Club. Juanita requested no visitation or service. She will be cremated and buried alongside Lloyd at the St. Francis Cemetery, Brockville. Arrangements are entrusted to the Irvine Funeral Home, 4 James St., E., Brockville.
