John William Lyon passed away peacefully at the Brockville General Hospital, with his family at his side, Wednesday, July 3rd 2019. John was born in Brockville, November 10, 1927. He was the youngest child of John and Jane Lyon. He was predeceased by his brothers Hugh, Jim and Sister Norma. John was husband to the late Faye (Ritchie) Lyon and father to Sandra (the late David Dawson), Sherry (Gord Marriner), the late Lou Anne (Joe Brouwer), and Jacqueline (Ron Brouwer). John was a proud Poppy to Tanya, Chris, Shawn, Darren, Tim, Tracey, Matt, Mark and Heather. He also had a special place in his heart for his twenty-two great grandchildren. John was very fond of and very missed by his Kitty.

Private arrangements have been entrusted to Irvine Funeral Home, 4 James Street East, Brockville and as expressions of sympathy donations to the SPCA or Heart and Stroke Association will be gratefully acknowledged.
