Obituary

Passed away peacefully at the Brockville General Hospital, Garden Street Site on Friday, February 7, 2020. John Henry Grue, at the age of 79 years.

Beloved husband of Elsie (VanDusen) Grue and cherished father of Nancy Countryman (Dale) and Donald Grue (Kristin). Loving grandfather of Eleanor and Margaret VanVranken and Clara Grue. Dear brother of Eleanor Countryman and Sharon Bucking. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his brother Robert Grue; by his sister Audrey Reid and by his parents Getria (Wells) and Clifford Grue.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at the Irvine Funeral Home and Chapel, 4 James Street East, Brockville, Sunday, February 9, 2020 from 2-4 pm. A ceremony celebrating John's life will be held in the chapel on Monday, February 10, 2020 at 11 am followed by a reception.

Interment will take place at New Dublin Cemetery in the spring.
