Smith, Joan Elizabeth
Entered into rest on August 30th, 2022 at Providence Care Hospital in Kingston following a brief illness just shy of her 85th Birthday. Cherished mother to Brenda Cutts (Dave), Ritchard Findlay (Kim), Robert Findlay (Sheri), Michael Findlay (Kelly). Dear grandmother to Christopher, Matthew, Jacob, Ellen, Emmalene, Corbin, Brenden, Justin. Sadly missed by her sister Bonnie Niemi and brother Allen Smith of Calgary along with their families and dearest friends Anne Berry and Marilyn Rivington. Predeceased by her parents James Dudley Smith and Ellen Viola Allen.
A private graveside service will take place at Maple Grove Cemetery in Kanata.
As expressions of sympathy donations can be made to the Cancer Society or to the Alzheimer’s Society of Leeds and Grenville and will be gratefully acknowledged.
