Obituary for Joan Elenore McKeen (Quail)
Peacefully at the Brockville General Hospital on Thursday, July 11th, 2019 in her 85th year. Beloved wife of the late John "Bud" McKeen. Loving mother of Karen (Ron Moffitt), Carvel McKeen (Wendy Hill) and Casey McKeen (Laurie Gifford). Grandmother of Krista (Marc Panciuk), Jonathon Moffitt (Shallon) Patrick McKeen (Tina), Dani (Ben Goulbourne), Samantha (Matt Wheeler) and Heather (Adam Scharf). Great-grand Nan to Hailey, Gracey, Brooklynn, Addisyn, Kierstyn, Harper, Clayton, Harrison, and Tiberius. Dear sister of Lorna (late Bill Wilson) and Dedee (late Robert Hurlbert). Predeceased by her parents Carvel and Mabel Quail and her brothers Bob, Bud and Doug. Fondly remembered by her dear friends Mary Crummy, Nancy Ladouceur and Brenda Snowdon. Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
A Memorial Gathering will be held at the Odd Fellows Hall, 119 Clothier St. E., Kemptville on Saturday, July 27th, 2019 from 1:30-3:30 pm. Private family interment to take place at the Kemptville Public Cemetery. In memory of Joan, donations to the Lung Association or the Brockville and District Hospital Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
