Obituary for Joan Mary MacIntyre (Barton)
Entered into rest at her residence on Saturday May 18, 2019. Joan Mary (Barton) MacIntyre, at the age of 73 years. Beloved wife of the late Darwin MacIntyre who predeceased her November 6, 2018. Survived by her children Penny (Mark) Davison, Rod MacIntyre (Trudy), Karen Davis (Don) and Darwin Jr. (Vicki). She will be missed by her grandchildren Amanda Davison, Brandon (Bruce Lyth), Andy, Kara and Heather MacIntyre as well as by numerous other grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Daughter of Mary Cummings and dear sister of Ross Barton (Linda), Brian Barton (Sharon), Stephen Cummings, Frank Kenny, Ruth Covill (Rosie) and Nancy Stephenson (Reg). Predeceased by a brother Glen Barton.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at Irvine Funeral Home, 4 James Street East, BROCKVILLE on Thursday, May 23, 2019 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm.
A celebration of Joan's life will be held on Friday, May 24, 2019 at the Irvine Memorial Chapel at ROSELAWN, 2451 County Rd. 15 Maitland at 1 pm followed by inurnment in the Tower Columbarium and a reception.
