Joan Louise Senecal Birtch
Passed away peacefully at the Brockville General Hospital, Charles Street Site on Friday August 12th, 2022. Joan Louise Senecal Birtch, at the age of 65 years.
Joan was admired for her strength and courage in life and will be greatly missed by her family members and friends including her one and only cat Dick. Joan leaves behind her loving children Tabatha (Randy), Kristen (Jason) and Trevor (Lacey). Known as MeMe to her beautiful grandchildren, who will miss her dearly, Molly, Nyla, Henry, and Scarlett. Joan also leaves behind her friend and companion Mike of many years, caring sister Barb (Doug), brothers David (Lori), Glen (Debbie) and Vernon (Tracy). She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews who meant so very much to her. Joan was predeceased by her brother Terry whom she adored and parents Richard and Evelyn Senecal.
Joan loved her flowers and gardening, watching the birds, baking and decorating for every holiday but more than anything her family was most important to her. There will be a graveside service at Roselawn Cemetery in Maitland, ON with family to remember Joan as she starts her journey to heaven to meet with her guardian angels. A celebration of life will be arranged and further details to be announced at a later date.
An expression of sympathy, donations can be made to the Palliative Care Unit-Brockville General Hospital, and will be gratefully acknowledged.
