Condolence: I am so sorry to hear of Jean's passing, I met her years ago riding at St. Alban's Stable and I have several mugs that she made. She will be greatly missed! My thoughts are with you during this difficult time.

Condolence: Our sincere condolences to Jean Marr's family and many friends. Jean always seemed to be smiling and it was a great pleasure to know her. She was an extraordinary potter and we are proud to have some of her works of art. Jean also gave back to her community. She made hundreds of beautiful soup bowls year after year for the annual Loaves & Fishes Empty Bowls charity event and for that we, and the Loaves & Fishes board and staff, are eternally grateful to Jean. She will be greatly missed.

Condolence: It was with sadness that I heard about Jean's illness and her passing. I first met Jean in 1980 when she attempted to make a potter out of me at a SLC course. She introduced me to her family and we have stayed friends since. She will be missed by many people - for her welcoming nature, her warm smile, her quick wit and her sense of adventure (like no other). Our condolences to the whole family.

Condolence: Jean was a great friend and an inspiration. She was an energetic and positive force in the pottery and art world. I learned so much from her. I will miss her.

Condolence: I first met Jean in 2000 on a riding tour here in Iceland, and we kept in touch after that. She was truly a wonderful person. I will miss her and think of her often when I use the mug she made for us in the "Groundwater Group"

I am so grateful that I met and became friends with Jean. It was a very fortunate choice to take the Egilsstadir Iceland tour in 1998. Without Jean, I don't believe the Grundwater Riding Group would have formed which has culminated in the most wonderful experiences and memories for me.

I treasure those years, that time I came to visit Jean in 2006 and the pottery that I use daily.

Your Mom was an exceptional lady! She really loved to share any knowledge on plants. Her house was the busiest, & warmest on the tours, & everyone was no less treated with cider, & her fabulous shortbread cookies, ..... which no one could make like her!
