Obituary for James Taggart
Passed away peacefully at the St. Lawrence Lodge on Tuesday, October 29, 2019, at the age of 79 years. Beloved husband of the late Patsy (Westerman) Taggart and cherished father of Kathy Sands (Greg) and Kevin Taggart (Liz). Loving grandfather to Ryan and Mya. Dear brother of Bill Taggart (Juanita), Mary Harcourt and Carol Mole. Also survived by his sister-in-law Lois Hudson (Bill) and by nieces and nephews Paul Taggart (Angie), Jodie Taggart, Mark Hudson (Stephanie) and Marnie (Don Hunt). Predeceased by his parent Gladys (Holloway) and Herbert Taggart.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at Irvine Funeral Home and Chapel, 4 James Street East, Brockville, Friday, November 1, 2019 from 11 am until 2 pm. A ceremony celebrating James' life will be held in the chapel on Friday at 2 pm followed by a reception. Members of the Lyn Masonic Lodge No. 416 will gather for a memorial tribute on Friday morning at 10:45 am. All sister lodges are welcome to attend.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Lung Association or the Alzheimer Society of Lanark, Leeds and Grenville will be gratefully acknowledged.
