Obituary for Jamie Sherwood
CELEBRATION OF LIFE UPDATE.

Entered into rest suddenly at the Brockville General Hospital on Friday, May 27, 2022 at the age of 46 years. Beloved husband of Paula and dear father of Ella, Kierah, and Easton Sherwood. Dear son of Sandy and Keith Sherwood. Also survived by his sister Sarah Sherwood and her husband Joel Alexander and their three children Ryland, Grayson, and Rowyn Alexander, and by a number of aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Jamie always lent a hand where needed, and was proud of the family business, W.J. Sherwood & Sons Construction Company. Jamie’s hobbies included hunting, fishing, and the great outdoors. He was an avid member and advocate of the Equine Barrel Racing Industry, and loved to put on a good show. He will be remembered as being very proud of his children. Easton will continue on with his love of the outdoors and working with his hands. Ella and Kierah will continue to make him proud with the horses and the stables.
A private family service will be held at the Irvine Memorial Chapel at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Maitland. A celebration of Jamie’s life will be held on June 19, 2022 from 11:00 am - 5:00 pm at the Sherwood Farm, 4419 Kilkenny Rd., Lyn .
In lieu of flowers, donations to an education fund for Jamie’s children will be accepted at the celebration of life by cash or cheque. If you are unable to attend the celebration, cheques for the education fund (payable to Paula Sherwood) may be dropped off or mailed to Irvine Funeral Home, 4 James Street East, Brockville, ON, K6V 1J9.
