Obituary for James (Jim) McNair

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Jim McNair, who passed away on Friday, January 15, 2021, at the Brockville General Hospital at the age of 77. Beloved husband of Betty McNair (nee Simmons) and the late Margaret McNair (nee Law). Cherished father of Lorrie Laming, David McNair (Marsha) and Kevin McNair (Lisa). Proud grandfather of Logan, Allison, Erica and Victoria. Jim will be sadly missed by his great grandchildren; his 3 step children; several step grandchildren and step great grandchildren. Also survived by his son-in-law Jeff Laming; his sisters Liz (Ed) Mitchel and May (Marco) Belan, by his brother-in-law Doug (Hilary) Law as well as several nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at Irvine Funeral Home and Chapel, 4 James Street East, Brockville, on Tuesday, January 19, 2021 between the hours of 6-9 pm.
PLEASE NOTE: Covid protocols will be in effect and registration of attendance is required. For the protection of the McNair family, their guests and our staff, limited numbers of guests will be invited in at various times with cleaning breaks in between for everyone's safety.

A private family service will take place followed by interment at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Maitland.
