Entered into rest peacefully at the Bridlewood Manor on Thursday, December 3, 2020. James Edwin Wellard, at the age of 93 years. Beloved husband of the late Hilda Marie ( nee Golledge ) and dear father of Barry James Wellard and his wife Lisa. Loving grandfather to Stephanie Frisina ( Dominic ), Christopher Wellard ( Katelyn )and great grandfather of Ophelia and Tompkins Frisina. James was predeceased by his parents George Henry Wellard and Evelyn Mary ( nee Goultry ) and by two brothers John George Wellard ( Helen ) and Robert Raymond Wellard ( Roberta ). Also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Arrangements are entrusted to the Irvine Funeral Home and Chapel, 4 James Street East, Brockville. A private family service will be held at Roselawn Memorial Gardens with interment to follow. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Brockville General Hospital Foundation Palliative Care will be gratefully acknowledged.
