Entered into rest peacefully at the Brockville General Hospital on Monday August 28, 2023 surrounded by her loving family, in her 89th year. She was the loving wife of the late Charles (Chuck) Dye.

She was the beloved mother of Lynne Sheffield (Roger), Karen Syptak (Peter) and Greg Dye (Jenn). Predeceased by her parents, Omer and Annabel Sly, daughter Laurie Dye, her beloved brother Murven Sly, and sister-in-laws Carol Sly and Louise (Polly) Levia.

Loving Grandmother of Aaron Fitzgibbon (Michelle), Lauren Fitzgibbon, Joe Sheffield (Melissa), Kyra Dye (Stef ) and Renee Francavilla (Daniel).

Cherished great grandmother of Joshua and Kelci Fitzgibbon, Quinn and Maeve Sheffield, and Madelyn and Christopher Francavilla.

Dear sister of Shirley Mainse (Kent). Sister-in-law of Jim Dye (Shirley), Peter Dye (Maude) and Ray Levia. Aunt to many nieces and nephews who loved her dearly.

Family and friends are invited to attend the funeral service which will be held at the Irvine Funeral Home and Chapel, 4 James. St. E., Brockville, on Friday September 8, 2023 at 11 a.m. A celebration of Isabel’s life will take place in the Reception Centre of the Irvine Funeral Home and Chapel following the funeral service. A private family interment will take place at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Maitland.

As an expression of sympathy, donations made to the Brockville General Hospital Cardiac Rehabilitation Program will be gratefully acknowledged.
