Passed away peacefully at the Bridlewood Manor on Wednesday, March 17, 2021 at the age of 97 years. Beloved husband of the late Verla (nee Chant) and dear father of Nick Marshall (Donna), Bill Marshall (Deborah), Nancy Smith (Dewey), Doug Marshall (Rhonda) and Lorna Nieuwenhuizen (Jake). He will be sadly missed by his grandchildren Laurie Marshall, Penny Levesque (Mark), Amanda Kain (Tim), Cassandra Smith, Danielle Parker (Lee), Chris (Willow) Nieuwenhuizen, Paula Jean Marshall, Daniel Marshall (Kendra), Taryn Marshall, Samantha Marshall, Adam Nieuwenhuizen and Kyle Nieuwenhuizen. Fondly remembered by his great grandchildren Andrew (Emily), Owen, Brasen, Lachlyn, Brynn, Ethyn, Natasha, Benton, Holden and Danaela and by one great great grandchild Aubrey. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by a granddaughter Elizabeth Edgley. Hubert was the last of his family and was predeceased by his siblings Donald, Alvin, Clinton, Raymond and Gerald Marshall, Winona, Helen and Buelah.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at Irvine Memorial Chapel at Roselawn, 2451 County Road 15, Maitland on Tuesday, March 23, 2021 from 11am until 1pm when funeral services will be held in the chapel. Interment to follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens.

As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, The Canadian Cancer Society or The Multiple Sclerosis Society will be gratefully acknowledged.
