Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Howard Barnhart can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Barnhart, Howard (Barney)

On Wednesday, December 9, 2015 at the Kingston General Hospital, Barney Barnhart of Brockville at the age of 75 years. Predeceased by his beloved wife Loretta Barnhart. Loving father of Stacey Seymour (Marty) of Kemptville and Sean Van Helden (Karrolyn) of Ottawa. Step father of Susan Jason (Ron) of Brockville and Richard Williamson of Price George BC. Fondly remembered by his grandchildren Luke and Jaekob Seymour, Sophie and Nikolaas Van Helden, Amanda Williamson and Brad Williamson; and great grandchildren Lucas, Gavin and Rogan Williamson. Also survived by his brother Arthur Barnhardt (Charmaine) of Ottawa and sister Anne Coy (Murray). Predeceased by his parents Mary and Arthur Barnhardt and by his brother Harold.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at Irvine Memorial Chapel at Roselawn, 2451 County Road 15, Maitland, Tuesday, December 15th from 10:00 a.m. until 1:45 p.m. The Royal Canadian Legion Tribute and Funeral Service will take place in the Chapel at Roselawn at 2:00 p.m. with interment to follow. After, everyone is invited to Branch 96 of the Royal Canadian Legion for a Reception. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Cardiac Centre at Kingston General Hospital (2nd floor East Wing) will be gratefully acknowledged.
