Obituary for Helen Sine

Helen Sine (Golledge) passed away at the Brockville General Hospital Friday, July 28, 2023.
Helen is survived by her son Michael Love, sister Patricia Large, brother David Golledge and stepchildren Donald and Kenneth Sine and Nancy Nofal.
Helen was predeceased by her husband Bruce Sine, children Richard and Karen, her brothers Basil and Claire and sisters Edna, Greta and Hilda.
Helen approached life with a calm confidence. She was organized and a master at managing a home. Her skills ranged from tasty pancakes and pies to interior decoration.
She was a seamstress and dressed tastefully. To relax Helen enjoyed board games, cards, TV game shows and Perry Mason books and movies.
Her career path included sewing air force gloves in late WW II and shifts at various manufacturing plants in Brockville but her real calling was retail sales where her interpersonal skills were appreciated.
As a baptized Jehovah’s Witness she found comfort, purpose and strength through her association with the congregation and the daily Bible studies.
Helen played life’s long game and scored a 95. Well done! Don’t cry because it’s over but smile because it happened.
A memorial service will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 2505 Victoria Road, Brockville on Saturday August 12, 2023 at 1:30 PM. In remembrance, donations may be made to the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society (check JW.org under Donations) or Bridlewood Manor, 1026 Bridlewood Drive, Brockville, K6V 7J8.
