Marie, my condolences on the loss of Hank, I knew him well, and was sorry I couldn't be with you last week. Interesting how life goes around and I should met up with Debbie, I hope one day we can get together under better circumstances. Take care.

The dash between Hank's date of birth and his date of death was remarkable. Everywhere he stepped he left his own unique impression. He fought for his country in the Korean war, and married a woman for 42 years which he loved dearly. Along that path, I encountered him mostly as a partner to his step-daughter. I lost count of the endless stories we created at their home in Ottawa, their cottage on Mississippi Lake, their winter retreat in Bare Foot Bay, Florida not to mention Wayne & Marie's extended home in Spencerville. In the end, it was an overall pleasure to cross his path. He will always be remembered as a Crown Royal Man who maintained himself and his property meticulously, and loved the people closet to him dearly. He will not be forgotten.

Death, like life, is a gift of God. God bless his soul.
Rest in peace Hank.

Brian

Always loved to see Hank and deal with him for a few cars over the years.....was always full of stories for me....once I found out he just lived around corner we would visit a fair bit ....he would always make sure your drink was strong enough....a few years back and talking about his days in the service....he showed up at my work and dropped off his service medal from Korea....He would simply not take a no ....for that I will always cherish.....it and his memory....such a great and caring man....One thing I always laughed about when going to visit is you had to be careful if front door was open you might get your eyes full of OLD HANK in the buff ....he always said you take me the way iam .....I always laugh when I think of the day he caught me ..... To Marie and the rest of Hanks family very sorry for your loss....
