Passed away peacefully at the Brockville General Hospital, Garden Street Site on Tuesday, July 7, 2020. Gerald Francis Anderson, at the age of 87 years. Beloved husband of the late Monica Anne (Donohue) Anderson and cherished father of Louise Maskell (Dan). Loving grandfather of Jessica Willoughby (Tyler), Emily Maskell (Vinny) and Danielle Maskell (Adam). He will be fondly remembered by his special great granddaughter. Also survived by his brothers and sisters-in-law Cliff McGrath, Isabel Anderson, Estelle Flynn, Kay Elliott, and Charlie Donohue as well as several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by sisters Patricia Dean (Raymond), Mary Hirt (Richard) and Joan McGrath; by his brother Dan Anderson; and by his parents Katherine (Whalen) and Francis Anderson.
Family and friends are invited to a Funeral Mass in honour of Gerry at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 66 Church St., Brockville on Monday, July 13, 2020 at 2 pm. Covid-19 protocols will be in place including mandatory wearing of masks. Interment will follow at St. Francis Xavier Cemetery.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Brockville and District Hospital Palliative Care or the Heart and Stroke Foundation will be gratefully acknowledged.
