Obituary for George Imrie
Passed away peacefully at the Brockville General Hospital, Charles Street Site on Friday, August 30, 2019. George Imrie, at the age of 85 years. Longtime partner of Nancy Vaillancourt and dear father of Helen Keeler (Ron), Elizabeth Townsend (Peter) and Tom Imrie. Cherished grandfather of Wayne (deceased), Chad, Cody, Jonathan, Wendy, Jeffrey and Mylinda. Dear brother of Jack Imrie (Donna) and Helen Bryden (Bob). Predeceased by his children George and Betty Lou Imrie and his parents Luva and William Imrie.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at Irvine Funeral Home and Chapel, 4 James Street East, Brockville on Wednesday, September 4th from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. A private family graveside service will be held on Thursday September 5th at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Maitland, Ontario. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation will be gratefully acknowledged.
