Obituary for Gary Chester Hargrave

Passed away peacefully at the Brockville General Hospital on Sunday, February 7, 2021. Gary Chester Hargrave, at the age of 66 years. Beloved husband of Sylvia (nee Harper) and dear father of Jeanie Hargrave (Mike Edgeley), Sean Hargrave (Elissa), and Scott Hargrave (Tammy). Sadly missed his ten grandchildren and by one great grandchild. Dear brother of Judy Cathcart (Wayne), John Hargrave (Mary), Mary Brian (Leslie), Vera McNish (John), Ada Belcourt, Jim Hargrave (Goldie), Ellen McNish (Norman), Jeff Hargrave, David Hargrave and Steve Hargrave (Shirley). Gary was predeceased by a brother Matthew Hargrave and by his parents John Robert and Vera Hargrave. Also survived by a number of nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at Irvine Funeral Home and Chapel, 4 James Street East, Brockville on Thursday from 1 pm until 4 pm.

A private ceremony celebrating Gary's life will be held in the Chapel. Interment will be at Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
