Obituary for Frederick (Fred) Easton
We are sad to announce the passing of Frederick (Fred) Ross age 74, on Sunday, March 6, 2022 at the
Brockville General Hospital. Loving husband of Fay Easton (Case) and dear father to Nova Easton (Steve
Watkins), Freddie Easton (Tracy Blok), proud Grandfather of Dane and Natalie Easton and Makayla
Kennedy. Survived by his sister Mona Irwin and niece Kelly Irwin (Tony) and nephew Eric Eif (Christine). His
brother- in- law Vic Case (Maria) and nieces and nephews Christina Simpson (Mike), Bernadette Horne (Murray), Francis Lloyd (Brad), Monica Osterhoof (Drew) and John Case (Brenda) and all of their children. Predeceased by his parents Frederick and Ellanora Easton and sister Sandra Eif (Lars).
Fred was an avid hunter and fisherman, he loved the outdoors and gadgets. He worked for the RCMP,
Winnipeg City Police and finished his career with Canada Border Services, with over 30 years in Federal
service. He will be greatly missed by many.
Keeping with Fred’s wishes there will be no visitation or funeral service. Memorial donations to the
Brockville Legion, Br. 96 would be greatly appreciated by the family. Arrangements are entrusted to the Irvine
