At Kingston General Hospital on Friday, May 6, 2011; Fred Clarke of Brockville at the age of 74. Beloved husband of Joan Clarke (nee Mills). Beloved father of Kelly Clarke (Robin), Debby Woods (Mark) and Cory McPhail. Fondly remembered by his grandchildren Lindsay Woods (Chris), Brittany Woods, Matthew Simpson, Cody VanderSpank and Tiffany McPhail; as well as by great grandchildren Emily Howlett and Anthony Venuta. Also survived by his brother Earle, by sisters-in-law Margaret Clarke and Marsha Morris; and brother-in-law Darrell Marshall. Predeceased by brothers Larry and Donald. Family and friends may pay their respects at the Irvine Funeral Home and Chapel, 4 James St. E., Brockville on Thursday, May 12th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Ceremony in Celebration of Fred's life will be held in the Chapel Friday at 10:00 a.m. with a reception to follow. In remembrance, donations to the Diabetes Association or the Canadian Cancer Society will be gratefully acknowledged.
