Fred was well known for his passion for sports, especially hockey, and was an enthusiastic and vocal fan. He was a very determined and competitive athlete who played football and basketball for BCI and also enjoyed golfing, curling and boating on the St Lawrence River. Later in life he mastered a variety of electronics, from his cell phone to his bountiful array of viewing devices, he often wowed us with his technical prowess. He loved nothing more than listening to his family share their stories and laughter, as long as the game wasn't on! His soft heart and love for his family will be sorely missed but he will always be in our hearts and minds.

A reception will be held at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Maitland; on Friday, September 4, 2020 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm.

Covid 19 protocols will be in place including the wearing of a mask and social distancing while in attendance.

In memory of Fred, donations would be gratefully acknowledged by the family to Brockville General Hospital Foundation Palliative Care or to Leeds and Grenville S.P.C.A. See details below
